About Us

Hello everyone, we are The Lather & The Wick Soap and Candle Company. We started our journey in June of 2020 right as Covid-19 was really taking off. We were like may people out there, working from home, not sure what was going to happen, and avoiding other people as best we could. We had been wanting to start our own company for some time and figured this would be a good time to introduce ourselves to the ecommerce world. We opened our ecommerce store in October of 2020 to great fanfare and were pleasantly surprised at the outpouring of support for our store, EcotasticEarth, and our products. At the time we carried many products, all of them earth friendly and eco-sourced, but our true passion was and still is Soy Wood Wick Candles, and Goat Milk Soaps.

Over time we determined that we wanted to scale back a bit with products and focus on what we do best, candles, soaps, lotions, and other bath related items. As such we decided to rebrand ourselves in January of 2022 as The Lather & The Wick Soap and Candle Company. Our goal for the new year and moving forward is to bring to you more authentic content. In that spirit we have completed our rebranding to a name that better suits who we are and what we do. We will still strive to make environmentally products by reducing and removing all plastic and chemicals while continuing to bring to you premium high-quality products with the same high standards as always. The turnout, as in the past, has been amazing!

We spend a lot of time developing and creating products that are eco-friendly, safe for as many people as possible, and still holding to our original values of minimal (mostly none) plastic and as all natural as possible. We then bring these premium small-batch items to you directly for your use.

We are still growing and adding new products from time to time as we work out the logistics and have recently added 100% Organic Turkish Cotton towels, throws, and blankets to the group of products we have.
