The Seljuk Turkish towel has a very different pattern with stripes and splashes all over it. What’s even better is that its reversible as well. The unique pattern reminds me of splashing paint against a wall and the many color options make it a very sought-after towel. Use it anywhere you can think of and there are probably a few you haven’t thought of too.

Turkish towels are traditional towels made in Turkey on looms with 100% Turkish cotton. The origins of Turkish towels date to about the 7th century A.D. and entwine with the Turkish bathhouses, known as hammams. They are also called Turkish Peshtemal towels. The best Turkish towels are made with tightly woven cotton in a flat woven fabric and look as good in a trendy bath as they do on a dining room table. Although Peshtemal is fairly new to America, it does have a very rich cultural background. Being around many centuries gave different cultures a chance to find other uses for this common Household item. From bathrooms to Hammams to camping, they are an essential item in Mediterranean daily life.
